Snow, Snow, and More Snow

The snow is finally taking a break since it started falling on tuesday. The amount we have gotten is ridiculous! We had a snow day on wednesday so Troy and I ventured across campus to get sleds out of Andrew's car. We had to stop in another dorm to warm up on the way. 40 minutes after we set out we finally got to the parking lot where the car was...it wasn't plowed. So I had to climb through almost 3 feet of snow to find the right car. When we found it, I sat down to open the trunk. Yes I SAT DOWN in the snow and was eye level with the key hole. So we got the sleds and set off back to the middle of campus where the best hill is. We went down the hill once or twice, then decided it was too cold to keep going. My gloves were soaking wet and actually froze solid! We warmed with some hot cocoa and soup, then played a few rounds of pong and Kings with the other guys in their suite. We also had a snowday thursday. And anotehr one today! YAY for five day weekends!!! haha

I still haven't built a snowman though. It's not good packing. Here are a few pics I took from Alana. Troy took some when we went sledding but he takes forever to post them!

Excitement!

I talked to both Charlene and Noelle today for the first time in what feels like forever. It has been decided that I'm going to the Buffalo/Niagara region for a visit during my break at the end of this month. I can't wait to see them!!! I am so ridiculously excited about this that I can't sit still. Char and I have crazy plans already made...subs and salad for breakfast, lunch and dinner; dance party '64; picture adventures; sketchy bars/dance clubs...and of course a trip to Canada :-)
As close as I am to both of these ladies, they have never actually met. Wierd huh? It's about damn time I got the two of them together.
As I said...I can't wait!!!! I miss both of them ridiculous amounts! I don't know if I can wait three weeks to see them but I guess I'll have to.

Well back to homework since I took a nap rather than read this afternoon. Productive, I know.

Superbowl Sunday

I'm very upset. I didn't get to watch the superbowl at all! I had rehearsal from 6-10. At least the Colts won though. On top of not being able to watch the game, I can't even order food now because Dominos requires a campus extension if they're delivering on-campus. Well I went next door to borrow Pete's phone, and it's randomly missing. I couldn't find it anywhere.
Nikki is NOT a happy camper. This weekend has been terrible from beginning to end. UGH! And guess what tomorrow is...MONDAY my favorite day of the week!! AND I have a paper due in my comp class that's only about 3/4 done. Sweet. I love life tonight.
