Slacker

Slacker

I'm pretty sure this is the longest I've gone without blogging, and to tell the truth, it's killing me. It sounds pretty pathetic, but just about everyday I think 'Oh, I'll have to blog this' then I remember that Sara and I still haven't gotten around to getting the internet hooked up. Oh well, at least my posts won't be quite as boring as they usually are lol.
Hmm let's see, where should I begin on the past week. Well, I've got the work thing under control. I'm working at AE and also at Red Roof Inn with m mom (basically I get paid to hang out with my mom, it works out pretty nicely). Eventually I'll have four 3-11 shifts at RR, and work whenever for AE, while reserving Wednesdays for watching Cole and Ry. I'll be pretty busy all summer, but there's nothing I can really do about that. Verizon took too long to get back to me so I took the job at RR instead. I don't mind becasue I wasn't going to be at the store I wanted, I would be in a tiny booth in Home Depot in the Commons. The only thing that really sucks about it is that I'm not making as much money, but oh well.
As for what social life I have left, that's going pretty well too. I hung out with my brother and sister and that crew this weekend, becasue it was Cynthia's (my bro's gf) birthday. So after a party at her house we went back to Pete's, who live just down the street. Well, as I walked into the house I had to bite my tounge to keep from laughing. Sitting on the couch was the girl who I suspect keyed my car becasue I was dating the guy she wanted. I have no proof, but we both agreed that it was something she would do. Not that I care, my car is one big dent antway, so the key marks just give it more character lol. I know she hates me, but that night she was being civil, and I have no idea why and it kind of made me a little worried. At least she wasn't there again the next night :-)
I guess that's it for now, life isn't that interesting right now. I'll actually have something to write about in a couple weeks though cuz Mary is taking me to California next week and I can't wait
:-D

The All Mighty Dollar

The All Mighty Dollar

So AE won't give me more than 6 hours a week, needless to say, I went looking for another job. One that will actually provide me with hours. I now have a job at Verizon Wireless, the hours are extremely flexible, I don't have to drive so far, I know two people currently working there, and it pays more. What could be better? I'm starting that job this week, but since I have the incovenience of paying rent this summer, I'm watching Cole and Ry a few days so Mary can go to work too. It works out quite nicely actually. Mar gets out of the house, I get to spend time with the munchkins, and I have something to do during the day. Once I give Sara the money for this month, I've got to start saving up, for school, for trips, for car insurance. Ugh, why can't things just stay the way they were in high school. I don't think I spent more than $10 in a typical week. It was so nice. Screw this whole adult responsibility stuff lol. That's all for now :-)

Home

Home

Well I've been home for about a wek now. I'm staying with my sister, Sara this summer and we haven't goten around to getting the internet yet. Well actaully, we're just waiting for my first paycheck. Yes, I finally did it, I got a job. lol. I got a job at American Eagle in the mall on Saturday, and depending on how many hours I get there I may get a second job at the Crooked Lake house since it's so close to home. I don't actaully start working until this Sunday, so Mary has decided to put me to work. I stopped by for a visit yesterday and ended up lugging rocks around all afternoon, and I came down for round two today. I jsut keep telling ymself that it's good exercise lol. That's about it. How exciting, right? Not many of my friends are home yet, but most of them should be finishing up within the next week or two, so hopefully there will be something more interesting to blog about soon.
