NU

This weekend was awesome! I got to see two plays (both of which were very good), eat real food, and see my best friend!! Noelle called me on friday night and told me to pack a bag because she and her new boy, Matt, were coming to get me. When we saw each other it was like a scene from a really corny movie...we dropped everything and ran at each other and hugged for about 5 minutes lol. It's been probably about 5 or 6 weeks since we've seen each other; this is a record for us. We went to the Anchor bar, birth place of the buffalo wing, for dinner and then we went back to Niagara. I ended up forgetting my purse in my dorm so i had to say I was another girl so that I could get into Nobe's building. It worked and we had no problems all weekend. Emily didn't know i was coming, no one did actually, so when I walked in Em did a double take and started screaming and nearly strangled me lol. That was the general reaction from everyone else too. I felt so loved. We didn't really do much at all, but just hanging out with everyone was a lot of fun. Matt brought me back to school on sunday evening after we all saw "Gypsy". His aunt and uncle's dog was in the show so we dropped Beckham off and ended up staying for a while and riding the new quad (so much fun haha). The car ride back was a good chance for Matt and I to talk and I laid down the law with him :-P (No one messes with Bo). He's a really cool guy and I like him a lot. He was trying to talk me into transferring to Niagara rather than Brockport, and I must say, he succeeded. He's a sophomore and has a lot of connections I guess. He's also a very persuasive speaker...when I told him about going to Brockport for education he told me that their program really isn't the best at all, I was a little concerned about that before but i didn't really care becasue it was affordable and it wasn't in Buffalo. After talking to him I really see the advantages of going to a private Catholic college (even if I'm not Catholic). The tuition is about double there, but I'd rather pay more for a better education than settle for an affordable mediocre education. (and I'm the one paying off the loans so the parentals really don't have any say in it). So I'm actually getting on this one becasue there may still be enough time for me to be there by next semester.

On a completely different topic, Dad is being an ass. My friend Emily Dorr is getting married in November and I might not be able to go because he's more concerned with his insurance than anything or anyone else. Noelle, Em B, Nick and Matt are all taking the train home for the wedding and Em's dad is bringing them all back, I would go with htem but there wouldn't be room in the car for me so I'd have to ride the train back alone, and I am definately NOT doing that. Since Thanksgiving break is so close to it i figured dad might let me drive my car back out and i'd drive back for break. I called to ask and he was a complete jerk about it (and I'm being nice). It ended with me in tears, him not caring, and me hanging up. He never called back so he can {insert something vulgar here}!! UGH!!!
