Getting Some Advice
I took Mom's advice and I e-mailed Keebs and Mouzakes, two of the three teachers I mentioned before, asking them for advice. Both of them responded quickly and they both agreed that I should find a school with a good English program, since it would be better to major in English and get my teaching degree later. Both also highly recommended the MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) program at Union college. It's an expensive school ($43,000/year) but the program is only a year long and Mouzakes mentioned something about a way to pay off the loan in five years if you go into a non-profit job (i.e. teaching). I have to ask her for more info, but everything they told me was really really helpful. I FINALLY have B's e-mail address (Shane saw her today and got it) so I'm going to write to her and see what her opinion is. I've also been looking at colleges closer to home, but obviously it's way too early to know anything. I've got some ideas but I'm going to keep them to myself for a while so people (Noelle, Nikki, Shane, Josh, Ryan, Matt, etc.) don't try to talk me into something I don't want. Well that's it for now I guess.
Everything is going well generally. Mom is coming to see me on Saturday :-D so obviously I'm really happy about that. I talked to Sara and Austin today and everything seems to be good there. Um...I guess that's it, so goodnight.
